The Entertainer Profession is all about entertaining and sweet talking. They are the bards and the dancers, forever looking for fame, fortune, and their next big break. As entertainers, they have a way with people and can often get what they want and who they want.

Effects on Weapon Usage

  • Can only use one-handed swords, daggers, knives, whips, rods, throwing weapons, and projectile weapons.

Effects on Armor Usage

  • Can only wear light armor
  • Can never wear heavy armor, even with the armor skill.

The second step for example will be 1d8 + Perform + Perform. You the entertainer are immune to this.

Effects of this powerful dance depend upon your element:

  • Earth: causes a tremor which knocks down all targets within the area around you friend or foe;
  • Air: creates a tempest around the area preventing projectiles from being fired into and from the affected area for 1d6 rounds;
  • Water: removes hunger, fatigue, and weak poisons from all in the area, friend and foe;
  • Fire: catches any target that is in the area, friend or foe, on fire causing 2d12 + Perform damage per round until the fire is put out;
  • Life: restores 1d12 + Perform Vitality to all targets in the area, friend or foe, each round for 1d6rounds;
  • Death: deals 1d6 + Perform points of poison damage to all targets in the area, friend or for, each round for 1d6 rounds;
  • Time: grants everyone in the area, friend or foe, 3 x move rate for 1d6 rounds;
  • Space: stuns all in the area, friend and foe, for 1 round

This powerful gothic melody grants to you and all in area (friend or foe) 1d10 + Perform Soul bonus. It also causes all effected to be the dominate runic element when attacking with magic another target, even if that target is of the same element or stronger element. This means that the magic damage will be increased by 20%.

With this haunting dance you will roll a 1d6 for each in the area of effect, friend or foe. If you roll a 6, that target is instantly dead.

Abilities

An entertainer can learn the following abilities. You get to start with 1 ability. Abilities are profession specific, you cannot learn the following abilities if you are not of this profession. You learn abilities as you grow in levels.

Ability Effects
Aura of Lust

This ability adds the skill seduction's effect to singing or dancing. Basically it allows you to use Seduction and a singing or dancing skill as one skill.

Must have Seduction and at least 1 singing or dancing skill.

Battle Waltz

This ability allows you to move with your dance, affecting a 3x3 area along your movement path.

Must have Tone & Rhythm and the skill Tap Dance.

Dance Training

This ability causes your dancing skills to cost 50% less power to use.

Must have Tone & Rhythm

Double Movement This ability permanently allows you to move twice a round.
Enhanced Agility This ability gives you 2 tried for any acrobatics check.
Enhanced Charm This ability gives you 2 tries for any Charm check.
Enhanced React This ability gives you 2 tried for any react check.
False Love

This skill causes targets affected by Seduction in battle to have to make an easy Mental Balance check to not kill themselves during the duration of their seduction.

Must have the Seduction skill.

Musical Instruments

This ability increases the effects of singing or dancing by 50%, as long as you have a musical instrument equipped as a relic.

Must have Tone & Rhythm

Seduced Haggle

This ability causes you to always achieve a successful haggling with a seduced target.

Must have the Seduction skill

Side Step With this ability, should you evade an attack you can step to the space to the left or the right of your character, without any movement action.
Soul Moves

This ability adds 10% of your Soul as Vitality damage to the affecting targets of Tap Dance.

Must have Weapon Dance.

Tone & Rhythm This ability allows you to hold a beat and sing or play instruments. It is a required ability for all entertainer only skills and abilities.
Voice Training

This ability causes your singing skills to cost 50% less  Soul to use.

Must have Tone & Rhythm

Weapon Dance

This ability adds your weapon attack values to your Tap Dance skill as an attack.

Must have Tone & Rhythm and the skill Tap Dance.
