Piercing Weapons

Piercing Weapons are typically any weapon type that comes to or bears a sharp point. Unlike swords which may come to a sharp point but have wider blades made for slicing, piercing weapons have no sharp edges and only have sharp points made for piercing. Piercing Weapons includes spears, tridents, lances, halberds, pole arms, and sais.

Spear Shafts

A spear shaft is simply a long pole and can thusly be used as a blunt weapon, however they are fitted with grooves to insert spear heads to make complete spears.

A spear head is a pointed hard material meant to be combined with a spear shaft to create a spear. By itself, a spear head can act as a dart.
