Throwing weapons are weapons specifically designed to be thrown. While these weapons could be used in melee combat, they are most effective being thrown. Throwing weapons are often treated as a secondary weapon by many.

2) Hira-Shuriken

Hira-shuriken are star shaped pieces of metal made sharp. You can dual wield hira-shuriken and if you have the level 1 in Throwing Weapons Proficiency, you can make a speed check throw again with each hand.

3) Darts

Darts are small cylinders with sharp points on one end. Though meant for throwing, a dart shooter can be used to propel darts farther. Darts do piercing damage, 10% of their damage goes straight to the target's HP.

4) Boomerang

A boomerang is a tool that, when thrown, is designed to spin about an axis perpendicular to the direction of its flight and returns to its user. Boomerangs can also do bashing damage and use bashing proficieny.

5) Chakram

The chakram is circular in shape with a sharpened outer edge and ranges in size from approximately 28 inches in diameter.  The chakram is primarily a throwing weapon but can also be used hand-to-hand.  If using the chakram as a melee weapon, you can use either Throwing Weapons or Slicing and Sword Proficiencies and apply slashing attack bonuses. You can also use slashing skills with the chakram. If used as a throwing weapon you can still apply slashing special attack bonuses. Chakram can be dual wielded and return to their user when thrown.

  • Red Glass: Increases damage by Runic Soul if used by fire element or against earth element
  • Teal Glass: Increases damage by Runic Soul if used by air element or against water element


The glass edge will break if rolling a double crit or rolling a mishap, increasing the damage for that attack by x 2, however once the edge is broke the weapon will do 20% less damage without the added damage from the glass edge.

This causes your weapon to do double the damage it normally would do against a spirit, and increases its ability to parry a spirit's attack if the weapon can parry. Further more, spirits have a harder time evading it. Spirits still get their normal decrease in physical damage, but because the weapon can do more damage, more of it will affect the spirit.
