Rods and Staffs are the weapons of clerics, mages, and scholars. While rods tend to be more combat oriented, staffs are more for those who focus more on their arcane arts than on combat.

Rods and staffs deal bashing damage normally, however they can also deal bludgeoning damage when stabbing at the target with them.

3) Staff

Staffs are not known for their damage dealing properties. They are instead iconic of the wizard or sage. The traditional staff is a simple wooden pole that is often knotted and uneven. It has an average blocking power with a slightly below average attacking power and is used more as a defensive weapon than an offensive weapon. A staff cannot be dual wielded and may be one or two handed.
